Satan: Title of The Devil–The International Library of Paranormal Psychology

The name Satan is from the Catholic, Judeo-Christian, Judaism, and Christian belief systems and is considered a title of The Devil. Judaism uses the name “ha-Satan”. Zoroastrianism uses the word “chaos” which also defines the name Satan.

Satan in the Hebrew is:

  • Adversary
  • To plot against another

Biblically it refers to a “human opposer”.
